The Couple of the Year is selected by the Chapter to be ambassadors to encourage other members to participate and get involved in Chapter activities.
Once selected to represent your Chapter as The Couple of the Year, you are expected to enthusiastically support all GWRRA programs with pride and a positive attitude, while promoting FUN, SAFETY and KNOWLEDGE.
Hello, we are Wendell and Marie Vince and we represent Chapter-O as Couple of the Year for 2009. We have been members of GWRRA since 2007. We enjoy attending the monthly meeting and meeting new GWRRA members and visitors. We are in charge of selling 50/50 tickets at our monthly meetings and assist with various duties at District and Regional functions. We also help welcome new-comers to our meetings.
We have been married for 31 years and have two daughters, Jennifer, 28 and Wendi, 21. We are both school bus drivers and own a stump removal business. We live in Pine, La.
We own a 2001 gl1800, illusion red. We ride at every opportunity, if the sun is shining, we try to hop on our bike and go. We especially enjoy the monthly Chapter rides with our fellow members of Chapter-O.
We appreciate the honor of representing Chapter-O as the 2009 Couple of the Year.
